WHO WE ARE

Sonel S.A. is one of the largest Polish manufacturers of measuring instruments. For over 30 years, we have been designing and producing professional devices used to verify safety, technical condition, performance parameters and the quality of power networks.

We continuously expand our product portfolio, aware that the growing number of electrical consumers, the increasing complexity of power systems and the importance of reliable energy supply bring new measurement challenges.

PRODUCTS SERVING YOUR ELECTRICAL SAFETY

The Sonel product catalogue includes several product lines divided according to measurement type and built-in functionality.

Our first and key segment covers electrical safety measurements - multifunctional meters, instruments for testing residual current devices (RCDs), photovoltaic installations, and devices for checking insulation resistance, fault loop impedance and earth resistance.

Other product groups include thermal imagers and pyrometers, low resistance meters, cable and underground infrastructure locators, as well as partial discharge cameras and high-voltage insulation testers used in high-voltage applications.

We also offer illuminance meters, power quality analyzers of the Sonel PQM series, and PAT testers ensuring electrical equipment safety.

Our handheld devices - clamp meters, multimeters, voltage testers and phase sequence indicators - provide convenient, reliable on-site measurements.

The offer is complemented by laboratory equipment, training tools, a wide range of accessories and dedicated software for data recording and analysis.

In recent years, we have focused strongly on advancing instruments for e-mobility, photovoltaics and energy efficiency.

WE MEASURE GLOBALLY

Our in-house Research and Development Department constantly improves existing designs and develops new ones, addressing changing technical, legal and environmental requirements. As a result, Sonel instruments meet both national and international standards.

With over three decades of experience and a well-developed distribution network, we are a trusted partner for power utilities and industrial customers. Sonel products reach clients in over 100 countries worldwide.

We also invest in modern e-commerce and IoT integration tools, making our devices and services accessible anytime and anywhere.

ACCREDITED TESTING AND CALIBRATION LABORATORY

Our Testing and Calibration Laboratory, accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA) since 2017, performs calibration of electrical and non-electrical measuring instruments and reference standards.

Over 30 years of experience and continuous development have enabled us to introduce unique laboratory services into our portfolio. We are among the few companies accredited to calibrate multifunctional meters across their full range of functionalities. In addition to standard calibration procedures for Sonel instruments, our accreditation also covers calibration services for devices from other manufacturers.

We have implemented a management system compliant with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, and we are systematically expanding the scope of our accreditation to include new areas. In terms of the number of calibration procedures performed, we are one of the largest laboratories of this kind in Poland.

SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT

For us, sales are just the beginning of building a long-term relationship with the customer. A key element of our activity is maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, achieved through:

• Warranty and post-warranty service of Sonel instruments – including inspections, repairs and adjustments,
• Technical Support Department consulting, focused on diagnosing and solving issues reported by customers and identifying their needs,
• Specialized professional training and industry education.

TECHNOLOGY AND EXPERIENCE AT YOUR SERVICE

With many years of experience in the design and production of electronic devices, we also offer contract manufacturing services - surface-mount technology (SMT) assembly on a professional FUJI automated production line.  We operate two SMT assembly lines, through-hole (THT) assembly lines, and dedicated inspection stations. All assembly processes are carried out in accordance with the IPC-A-610D standard.

OUR MARKET POSITION

Our strong position in both domestic and international markets is the result of our commitment to continuous technological and functional development of our products, as well as their adaptation to customer expectations. This has been confirmed by the achievement of international certifications: Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015, Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System ISO 45001:2018.

All instruments manufactured by Sonel comply with applicable standards and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) directives, which allows us to place the CE mark on them with full confidence.

We are also recommended by the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP) for our activities in the fields of manufacturing measuring instruments, providing training in their operation and electrical safety measurements, and performing instrument calibration.

The high quality of our products has been repeatedly recognized and awarded at international electrotechnical trade fairs.

We continuously seek new and improved solutions, and systematic market analysis enables us to accurately identify current customer needs. Keeping pace with global trends, we develop and introduce new products every year.

The origins of Sonel date back to the 1990s. Since then, we have been constantly growing and steadily expanding our team. It is made up of experienced specialists, engineers, designers and software developers who share a passion for achieving common goals.
