Modification service for Sonel PQM-702, 702T, 703, 710, 711 analyzers
4G LTE technology has become the standard for mobile data transmission in many parts of the world. Therefore, we have introduced a hardware modification service — replacement of the 3G modem with a 4th generation 4G modem — for Sonel PQM-702, 702T, 703, 710, and 711 analyzer models.
The device modification is a service provided under a standard service order. The standard turnaround time for service orders is approximately 14 days.
The service is available for a fee of 330 EUR net. The service is valid within the EU.
ATTENTION!
Users who purchased analyzers on or after July 1, 2024, are eligible for a free service. To qualify for the free service, a proof of purchase with a clearly visible purchase date must be attached to the service order.
What does the service include?
The service includes:
1. Hardware modification — replacement of the 3G modem with a 4G modem.
2. Firmware update — software update enabling support for the 4G LTE module.
3. Declaration of verification — a document confirming proper operation after the service has been performed.
How to request the service?
If you would like to use the service, please submit a service order via the online service request form.

2. To add a new item to your order, in the “Service Selection” section, click + Add
3. In the “BASE DATA” tab, please select Sonel in the “Device manufacturer” field, and in the “Services for this item” section, select:

- Service + calibration - if calibration is requested along with the modification, we offer a discount*.
Next, please provide the device serial number (1) and select the instrument type from the list (2): PQM-702 / 702T / PQM-703 / PQM-710 / PQM-711.
4. In the next step, please select the type of service: (3) "GSM modem upgrade service"
5. In the following steps, please follow the form instructions until the request is submitted.
6. Users eligible for free modem replacement must provide a copy of the proof of purchase (a scan sent after placing the order to [email protected] with the order number in the subject line, or a printed copy included with the shipment of the analyzer).
ATTENTION! The service price does not include potential repair costs. If the submitted device is found to be non-functional and is out of warranty, the cost of repair will be added to the service fee.
* - Customers ordering both the modification and calibration services receive a 30% discount on the calibration service. Users with products registered in the Regular Calibration Program benefit from the standard discount terms specified in the program rules. Discounts cannot be combined.
