Safety measurements of electrical installations based on CEA (Measures relating to safety and electric supply) Regulation, 2022 and standards: IS 732, IS 3043, IS/IEC 62305, IEC 61557.

This training will help you understand testing of low voltage electrical installations and requirements of relevant Indian laws and standards.

Earth resistance and soil resistivity measurements

Physical conditions for measurements, (IS 732, IS 3043)
Measurement methods: 3-pole, 4-pole, 3-pole with clamp and 2-clamp,
Measurements of transmission towers
Measurements of extensive earthing systems
Measurement of earth impedance with impulse method (IS/IEC 62305)
Soil resistivity

The training is conducted online based on recorded material. The duration of the training is about 1:30 hour. During the training attendees can ask questions, which will be answered later, by e-mail.
